We are glad you are exploring Langhorne Presbyterian Church. We are excited about what God is doing in our church and hope you will share our excitement and vision as you learn more about us. Please feel free to contact us via email or by calling the church office (215-752-3200).

Here are some commonly asked questions about our church:

When? We gather together every Sunday morning for worship at 10:00am and usually conclude between 11:15-11:30am. Following the worship service everyone is invited to join us in our downstairs fellowship hall for a time of socializing. September through May we also have discipleship classes for all ages at 9:00am.

We also meet at 5:00pm every Sunday evening in our chapel for worship. This is followed by a dinner in our fellowship hall that is open to all. This service is more casual and integrated, meaning that we welcome children of all ages and wiggles into it, though the nursery is avaible if a parent wants to step out with their child.

What to expect? Our church is located at 125 East Gillam Avenue, Langhorne Pennsylvania, just off of Route 1 and only a few minutes from I-95.

Parking can be found both next to the church building or in the lot across Gillam Avenue. After you enter the lobby through the main door, friendly greeters will welcome you and provide directions to the bathrooms, nursery, classrooms, and sanctuary. At the entrance to the sanctuary you can pick up a worship guide (here’s a sample) that includes information and the order of our worship as well as the things going on in the life of the church.

Kids and Youth? There is a nursery available on Sunday mornings for infants and children still in diapers. Across the hall from the nursery is a room for parents to nurse their children in private. We have classes at 9:00am every Sunday morning for children and youth.

Children are welcome and wanted in our worship services. On Sunday mornings there is a time before the sermon when children up through 3rd grade are invited to the front for a brief, age-focused lesson. Kids are dismissed to either rejoin their parents in the pews or to participate in Covenant Kids, a time of age-specific teaching focused on the same subject as the sermon text.

On Thursday evenings during September-May we host a fellowship dinner for all ages at the church from 5:30-6:30pm. Following the dinner, there is nursery, classes for children, and the teenage youth group, which is always exicted to have guests join them. The children's classes run from 6:30-7:30pm, and the youth group from 6:30-8:00pm.

All of our children and youth workers go through background checks and are trained and expected to follow our procedures to ensure that the children are well protected.

Accessibility? There are parking spots directly in front of the sanctuary for those with accessibility needs. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance at the front of the church and a wheelchair-friendly elevator for access to the sanctuary and fellowship hall. Hearing-assist devices are available upon request.

Dress Code? There is no dress code at LPC. Some people wear jeans or shorts and a t-shirt, some a suit and tie. Dress however you feel comfortable!

What about the rest of the week? We have a number of activities throughout the rest of the week, that vary from season to season. Our church calendar can be found here. Visitors are welcomed and wanted whenever we gather!
